On February 15th, 2024, we facilitated the insightful “Get That Job after your Doctorate” workshop. This session offered valuable guidance and strategies for doctoral candidates seeking to transition smoothly into the professional sphere.
Facilitated by Andrew Cerniski, the workshop covered topics such as CV format, interviewing skills, interview preparation as well as how to present yourself to potential employers.
Participants did mock interviews and analyzed their CVs for ways to convey key information to interviewers more clearly.
Overall, the workshop was a great success and left participants with more confidence in the challenging task of job application.
